A little behind here on my posts but am going to catch up with some photos that I haven't had an opportunity to post yet.

Here's a hike that we did while Nancy was here.  My friend Mel and I previously did this hike but we took a different trail and ended up going about 5 miles.  This one was a little under 3 miles and it's great for kids bc it's mostly flat down along the river.  The trail is absolutely beautiful and is lined most of the way with small cabins that people rent or own for a little getaway.  The cabins were originally from a campground build back in 1919.  During the Great Depression the campground shut down due to lack of funds and never restarted.
On our way to the falls we stopped to see what everyone was looking at and discovered the massive amounts of ladybugs that were located on a single section by the path.  It was actually a stunning site.  We're not sure of the reason of it but it was magnificent to see.
These couple shots were of some of the cabins that lined the river on our walk.  I kinda feel like I'm back home in New England on this hike.  It feels as though you're miles and miles away from any type of city.
A couple photos of the falls.  It wasn't just a trickle today after all the rain we had.
LOVE THIS SIGN! SO TRUE!!!!  Explain that one to a 6 year old.  I think I explained this better than I explained the Tower of Terror ride!
Sutton was yapping away on Scott's back and then all the sudden there was silence.  LOL  Can you understand why?
This was the toughest part of the hike.  After you've already gone 2 miles you have to go the last part uphill.  Usually you hike down at the end but I really like the extra work that you have to do to get out!
