It's officially Sutton's birthday this week but since I dedicated the previously post just to him I won't be writing it here.
We started the week with a football game on Sunday at La Canada. Yup, that is the town you probably hear on the news all the time for wild fires and flooding. Beautiful town but think we'll stay in Monrovia! The boys had a super early game, one which we missed the first half because we didn't get the start time correct!!! It was also a week that they got to play on an amazing field. The day was gorgeous and a football game was the perfect was to begin it!
Sometimes you gotta break out in a dance, especially right after a rare touchdown! L.O.V.E.
After every game we line up and make a tunnel for the players to run through! It's so cute and they love it! Today, coach Manny led the charge! Chantz is directly behind him on the right (my right that is).
I did make Sutton cupcakes for his birthday and I let Chantz make his own with the leftover frosting I had. Yummy!
We received a fun box in the mail from Scott's Uncle Greg and Aunt Lydia today. It was mostly full of popcorn that Scott had ordered from his cousin a while back but there was also some unexpected goodies in there! Our favorite were the bags of coffee from Green Mountain Coffee! Everyone knows we love us a good nice hot cup of coffee!
We started the week with football and gosh darn it we're going to end it that way too! After the end of today's game there was a little ceremony. We're still not 100% sure what it was all about but they introduced all the boys...again. It was super hot, over 100 so it was a tad tough to stand in the beaming sun for an extra hour or so.
BTW...I never did say if I ever passed my ACE Exam back on 9/24. In case you wondering I can now add ACE on my resume. GO ME! I love learning!
