10/17-10/23/2010

Two auditions, running and then no running, new photo outfits and running clothes and then there's pain. They all sound pretty fun except for the last one.  We started the week with a football game on the 17th but I didn't have my camera because from there I decided to run back to Monrovia.  I was on mile 8 and had to make a u-turn to come home since the amount of pain that was shooting through the bottom of my foot was causing my eyes to water.

So, starting there...fairly sure it's a stress fracture and that just stinks.  After training for 5 months to run this race without a single injury to have this with 1 week to go is just heartbreaking for me.  I'm a super competitive athlete and I will run this race.  Now, I'm not as young as I used to be and my body is beginning to have a hard time recovery so this week I WILL NOT run a step in hopes that I will be able to finish my race in my goal of 10 minute miles for 13 miles.  I'm ready for this....I got this!  Here's the night before my race shot on the 23rd...
crappy cellphone quality...camera was charging for tomorrow

I've also been contacted by Boston a few times lately for auditions.  This one was a bigger one and I wanted to be in the running so I called and got permission for online submission process.  I found a woman in Burbank that will off camera read, record and send them my audition tape.  So awesome that she's an actor bc many times in an audition read your reader is awful and it makes your entire audition awful too!  For this audition I was a receptionist, this is not a normal look for me but I liked it!

Shopping for clothes for the boys to take Holiday photos in as well this week.  This pairing was one of my favorites and will probably be used! I really need to stop the cell photos.  I guess it doesn't help when your cell has been dropped numerous times on the ground to the point where I now have to snap it back together.  I will soon be having a cell phone burial I believe.

Creepy and beautiful all at the same time.  Where oh where are my mountains? This was the site I saw driving home from my race registration on Friday.  The sun was shining yet this is what I was looking at.( I swear my eyes never left the road not even for a second!)

Not only was this week long for me but it was apparently long for my munchkin too!  I love that Scott grabbed the camera and took a photo.  It's not often I'm on the other end with my kids.

This week we also had a parent-teacher conference at Chantz's school.  We were so pleased to find out that he is accelerating above and beyond this year and he ahead of the game.  So glad that my biggest little loves school again and is rockin at it!

**Happy 43rd Birthday to my oldest sister Heidi!  Love ya!**
