First Day of Summer & First Day of Visitors!  Let the fun begin!!!!

Today was one of those days where you feel as though you're having an out of body experience.  It was as if a tornado was spinning in my head;  my thoughts were fragments and my words were mush.  From the moment my eyes opened we were on the go.  We were up bright and early cleaning the last little bits of things that needed to be cleaned and then we were off to LAX to pick up the first round of visitors, The Orgeldinger Family (minus Kirk who lands on Thursday), who landed a 1/2 hour early.  My kids were soooooo excited to see their friends and I was just as excited to see mine!!!  After a crazy trip in we were headed back to Monrovia where we first had to stop and have an In-N-Out experience for them.  They were starving so there really isn't a better time to do this, correct?

We arrived back safely where I enjoyed about an hour with them before I headed back to LAX for friends...round 2.  This time I was going to pick up The Bogdanovich Family (minus Glen who arrives on Wednesday).  Again the boys were waiting patiently at home for another friend and I was waiting patiently in my car for another friend.  Where, by the way, I ALMOST received a ticket for pulling up curbside to change the car seat for Ty and to pick them up.  Before I even had both feet on the ground a 'nice' policeman was pulling up to my car on his motorcycle.  I thought 'nice' was the most family friendly adjective for him.  Needless to say he gave me a warning and I think he felt like a jerk when Myndi and Ty actually did come running up to my car with a thousand suitcases.  I said, 'See, I told you my friends were here.  They were just WAY down there and couldn't see me way over here.'  I say this because he repeatedly told me I couldn't pull curbside unless my friends were standing RIGHT HERE.  But, where they were physically standing was blocked off by orange cones so that was pretty much impossible.  But, all in all, we made it back after a lot of traffic and the partial gang was reunited again! (The Leclerc Family arrives on Thursday which is the 4th family of the bunch!)

CHEERS!
Good friends, great memories and lots of fun!
