TIS THE SEASON!
Oh, it sure is!  Not only is it the season to be jolly but also the season be a royal pain in the a$$!  Yes, my children fall into that category during this time of year.  Come on, I sure do love them but I'm not blind!
I will not be the parent who says my children are so good all the time, blah, blah, blah.  They are good 90% of the time but man, that extra 10% sure does directly impact MY PATIENCE!  But yes, back to tis the season to be jolly.  I am super jolly, don't get me wrong and about the patience thing, truth be told is, it is what it is, I'm pretty much done trying to perfect that quality of mine.  Some things just aren't meant to be and I have ZERO patience for misbehaving!  I guess it's not a bad thing!

Guess who decided to join our household this year?  We were lucky enough to adopt an Elf, straight from the North Pole!  Do you know the Elf goes to the North Pole EVERYsingle night once you go to bed and reports to Santa if you've been naughty or nice for the day.  He can also see you whereever you are and he has hearing as strong as a superhero!  Santa sure is smart to realize he should have some of his Elves live with families, it probably makes his job much easier!  Our Elf was sitting here when we came home after being out for a few hours.  We read the book and found out what he was all about and then named him Buddy.  We registered him at the North Pole and was sent all his adoption papers.  Buddy officially belongs to us, AWESOME!

Nothing like being old enough to watch the Grinch and get it.  This is Sutton's first year for a lot of things and watching the Grinch gets added to that list.  He has to make sure to tell me to watch when the Grinch's heart grows and he begins to like Christmas.  It's his favorite part and that makes my heart grow.

Off to our little small town Holiday parade.  This was our first real event last year when we moved here.  So fun to go down for the second year in a row.  Of course Santa stole the show right at the end.

Saturday the 4th was the day to FINALLY meet Santa.  My mom's group had previously reserved a little spot called the Peach Cafe for families to have breakfast and then meet Santa.  We love this little restuarant and all of the people who work here are so fantastic!  It was a perfect little morning for our family.
Sutton is so focused on EVERYTHING around him he rarely has time to look at the camera anymore.  I have to take 15 million pictures just to get one.  This time I decided to throw in the REAL photos because they make me laugh.  He is saying CHEESE, I give him that!

WIKI STIKS are a fantastic invention and I love when restaurants give them out instead crayons.  So much more fun, even for me!  I can only play so many games of Tic Tac Toe!  With WikiStiks Scott and I can actually have a real adult conversation!

SANTA had finally arrived and he was shortly headed right over to our table.

First it was a conversation with Sutton about how old he was was and what he wanted for Christmas and next...
It was over to Chantzelor to find out the exact same things.  Wonder if he'll let the REAL Santa know.

Sutton is in the stage where SANTA is DA THING!  Everyone with a white beard is Santa right now and he will be the first to SCREAM SANTA if he spots him.  Chantz on the other hand knows that no Santa you ever see is the 'real' Santa.  All of these pretend Santas were just hired by the real dude in red to get the lists from all the children and to note who's being naughty or nice.  And he also knows that all the hidden cameras in stores are wired right to the North Pole so Santa can watch you EVERYWHERE!  :)
