Left Cumberland today and headed to Houlton to Grammie and Grampie's house to visit for a few days.  A short 4 hours after leaving we were there!

Sutton was reunited with his cousin Sammy.  These two had a very in-depth conversation while hanging on this lone spot of dirt and rocks.  (The conversation shortly turned into a rock throwing competition which was broken up shortly after it began.)

While the boys talked, Grampie was hard at work preparing dinner.  Meat, veggies and potatoes...we're in the county now.  This is the common meal that I grew up on.  (FYI...The one thing I will always remember about my father is his hands.  They're not delicate and wimpy or nice and manicured, they're rough.  They're hands of a man that has worked hard.)

After dinner a nice surprise was set on the table.  Before I came to Maine I requested a 'raspberry freeze'.  This is a dessert that my mom used to make when I was younger.  I haven't had it for a VERY, VERY long time.  I think it was a Christmas WAY back when.  It was just as good as I remember it to be!  YUM!  Thanks mom!
