When life hands you lemons you make lemonade or you trade them with the neighbor for some limes to stick in your Corona if you live in CA.  Life is short, so do the things that make you uncomfortable, eat the things you crave and love, go the places that you dream, wear the things that make you feel the best and give, give, give...because there is nothing better than the act of giving.

This book has been the book of the day for a numerous amount of days.  I LOVE that it is teaching my children that it's not important if you win the game, but it's if you had fun in the process.  Because yes, it is so rewarding when you win, but life isn't about winning and to instill that in children could be setting them up for a world of unexpected hurt.  Everyone wants to win, let's get real, so that part doesn't necessarily need to be taught.  What needs to be taught is respect and good sportsmanship and this book is a real winner in relating that exact message to my boys.
