My car is disgusting, so, we're going to the car wash today!
The car wash here is an interesting little trip for us. The first time we went I had no idea what to do, not that hard but a little mind boggling when you've never been before and you have cars lining up so fast behind you that there's no escape once you've pulled up to the mark.
You pick a lane where there's an attendant waiting to 'take your order'. Once you place you speciality then you follow your lane up where you wait behind a few other cars. When you're close to the front you get out of your car, pack up your belongings & your kids, leave your keys in the ignition and head inside. You're car then gets the royal treatment as you watch. First they blow it out, then vacuum the entire thing and wipe the inside. Step 1 is complete and then your car is driven to be next in line for the wash, but not before getting a mini soak down first. They line your car up and then send it through the wash where you can watch the entire thing through the windows on the inside of the building. (The kids love this part.) Step 2 is complete and they pick up your car on the other side where they drive it up to a row and proceed to hand buff it and make it shine. Step 3 complete. They wave their towel at you when they're finished. You give them a tip and you're on your way. A car wash here is completely worth it!!!!!
AND THEN...YOUR CAR SHINES LIKE THE TOP OF THE CHRYSLER BUILDING.
