Tonight we were in the mood for some Italian food and good pizza. This is in fact a rarity out here in LA. It seems that Italian has been shoved on the back burner here and for some reason the west coast hasn't mastered how to make a good pizza yet. We ended up going to Buca di Bepo, a very loud & family friendly restaurant in Pasadena. The kids devoured a whole pizza and Scott and I had a sampler dish so we could have a little taste of a few items. I must say it wasn't anything spectacular and I'm not sure if I'd be itching to return anytime soon. Living outside of Boston we have definitely been spoiled with the standard of Italian food.
