This was Chantz's first day of baseball with his team.  He's on the Yankees.  COME ON...don't they know we're from Boston!  I came home to a full scouting report on the fridge done by Scott.  The coach did say that he's never seen a kid come in from the east coast being so advanced.  He was impressed by the level that he could play at.  Above and beyond some of the 7 & 8 year olds on his team. Way to go Chantz for all the hard work.
Here is what is hanging on my fridge:

CHANTZELOR POWERS:      BASEBALL SCOUTING REPORT

Things he did Awesome:
* Always Hustled
* Strong Throws
* Was a good teammate
* Got in front of ground balls
* Used two hands for catching
* Diving catch
* Fast around the bases
* Swung the bat hard

Things he could do even better:
* Keep hands up when hitting
* Stepping towards pitcher on swing
* Follow thru on throws

Scott didn't tell Chantz that he was doing a scouting report on him so Chantz thought it was pretty cool.  It's also a great way to coach Chantz a little since he hates listening to what he's doing wrong but he's fallen into a couple bad hitting habits thanks to the Wii!!!
There is a gigantic playground at this field so Sutton is in heaven.  Of course that's a good thing and a bad thing bc one of us won't get to watch Chantzelor.  That's what happened last year.  I think I saw maybe 15 minutes total last year of Chantz playing baseball.  We may work out something with our neighbors that we swap the kids during game days so we can each go and watch!
