We LOVE to hear that some of you are reading the blog!  I'm having so much fun documenting this time in all our lives.  I feel as though it's also an easy way for people to pop on and see what we've been up to.  The time change, although only 3 hours, sometimes makes it difficult to stay connected to everyone constantly.  It's a challenge to post everyday, especially during the weekends.  So, if you don't see a post I'm probably playing catch-up so it will be there soon!  It'd be great to know all of you that are catching up...drop us a line and let us know!

As for today, we're still in a monsoon here in CA.  The rain hasn't let up a bit.  Luckily the mountain behind us is still intact.  The one about 15 minutes from us I can't say the same about.  It's suppose to keep raining until Sunday so send your good thoughts over here!
I did get my camera out today to snap some photos but there was no battery.  Of course, right?  So, once again you get a catch up picture.  These photos were of our first hike in CA up in Eaton Canyon. Our friends Jeff & Melissa with their two kiddos Bella & Matthew were great company!

Chantz wanted a piggy back toward the end of the hike.  This pack is fantastic! (It's actually for Sutton.)  One of the best investments we made as parents on child accessories.  It's an Ergo Carrier and holds up to 50lbs.  Chantzelor is a little over 50 lbs but he's so thin it worked!  Your can wear it in the front or back.  We got it for our trip to Mexico and have gotten our use out of it for sure! It carries the weight through your hips so you don't feel as though you're carrying any weight.  Also great for the kids bc it's like sitting in a chair for them...weight through their hips so it doesn't compress their spine.  FANTASTIC!
